Every fiber has a job. Our riggers help you match the right construction to your boat, your budget, and how you sail.
Annealed Dyneema with 30 to 40% more strength and near-zero stretch and creep. Same great UV and abrasion resistance as Dyneema at only slightly more cost. The new super rope.
High modulus polyethylene with at least the strength of steel wire at the same diameter. Very low stretch, excellent UV resistance. Spectra has the best fatigue life of any fiber and floats.
Liquid Crystal Polymer fiber with very low stretch, high breaking strength, low creep, and good chafe resistance. Less stretch and creep than Dyneema — slightly heavier with less UV resistance.
The strongest and most expensive fiber available. Degrades in UV so must be stored in a box and installed only for regattas. Makes an incredible high-performance cover for winch applications.
The most common rope for cruising applications. Less stretch than nylon, durable, and economical. The go-to for sheets, spinnaker halyards, and tails. Rigworks stocks custom colors for long wear in the sun.

Hydraulic Proof Loading for High-Load Rope Work.
Rigworks has a hydraulic ram mounted to a 25-foot long steel I-beam specifically for cycling custom high-load loops, strops, and soft shackles. Most shops can’t touch this kind of work.
This setup allows us to proof-load and cycle soft rigging components under real working loads before they go on your boat — giving you confidence that every custom strop, lifting loop, or soft shackle we build has been tested to perform.
