Our riggers recently installed trysail tracks on both a Hylas 70 and a Jeanneau 54. Aren’t they lovely!

A trysail is a very small sail that is used in place of the mainsail in severe storm conditions. It is run up a dedicated track that mounts parallel to the mainsail track on the mast. These tracks are often difficult to install because they must be mounted around other hardware, in this case gooseneck and vang brackets. On the Jeanneau we used delrin pucks to create a clear path. On the Hylas we used a delrin sheet and added a custom bend for the perfect fit.
